Hawzah News Agency- senior Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani, had a meeting with Hujjat al- Islam Abdul Karim Abedini, the Friday imam of Qazvin city and the representative of the supreme leader in the province during which the Shia scholar pointed out the brilliant history of the Qazvin region as one of the most important origins of the Shia Islam and said, “Qazvin has long been one of the most important origins of Islam and Shi’ism; It’s been the capital of the Safavid dynasty, it was considered an important place for spreading the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) , hence scholars like Mohammad Taqi Barghani grew up there and were introduced to the Islamic world.”
The senior scholar further pointed to the presence of religious people of Qazvin in various periods of the Islamic Revolution and noted,” Today, one of the most important duties of clerics is to communicate directly with the people; one should be with the people and listen to their dialogues.”
This Shia source of emulation further discussed the importance of preaching and carrying out cultural affairs by the clergy and religious missionaries and added,” In addition to preaching Islam and cultural works, people's concerns and problems should be heard. Your dialogue with people in order to solve their problems will encourage them.”
Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani considered the life hardships including unemployment as one of the major problems of the people and added,” Everything in the power should be used to solve this issue so that the burden is removed from the shoulders of the people.”
